Aly and Aj

At the age of 5, Alyson a.k.a. "Aly" discovered her passion for acting and music through her involvement in the Childrens' Performing Arts group at her church. She began seriously studying acting at the age of 11, at which time she also began working as a professional print model. At age 15, Alyson is 5'6". Alyson is also an accomplished musician, singer and songwriter. She has been playing the piano for 9 years, but writes most of her songs on the guitar. She and her younger sister, Amanda a.k.a. "A.J." both write their own music and perform as a duo with their acoustic and electric guitar driven songs. They are currently recording their first "Aly & A.J." CD, that will soon be released in the mainstream market. Alyson's hobbies are dance, art, horseback riding, reading and hanging out with her 2 dogs, Saint and Bandit. Alyson's best friend is her sister Amanda, who is also an actress.

Sister of Amanda Michalka, who also goes by A.J. Amanda is also an actress and the two sisters are presently writing and recording their first "Aly & A.J." CD with Hollywood Records, to be released in early 2005.

Stars in Disney Channel's new series PHIL OF THE FUTURE as Keely Teslow who befriends Phil, played by Ricky Ullman.

Alyson's favorite foods are Sushi, Tacos, Candy (especially Ring Pops and Pop Rocks), Pasta and Jamba Juice drinks.

Alyson's favorite colors are orange, cranberry and black.

Alyson's favorite movies are Willow, Uptown Girls, Pirates of the Carribean and School of Rock.

Alyson's favorite actors are Jack Black, Johnny Depp, Simon Baker, Naomi Watts, Cate Blanchett, and Topher Grace.

Alyson's favorite musicians are Nickelback, Michelle Branch, Sting, Seal and John Mayer.

Alyson's favorite T.V. shows are That 70's Show, Oliver Beene, The OC, and of course MTV!

Alyson's favorite sports are Hunter-Jumping Equestrian, Volleyball, Swimming, Rock-Climbing and Mountain Biking.

Alyson is currently 5'7".

Alyson plays both the piano and the guitar. She is also an accomplished singer and published songwriter.

Alyson's favorite animals are dogs and horses. She also loves dolphins!

Alyson's favorite book series are, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Artemis Fowl and anything that involves Fantasy and Adventure!

Alyson has blonde hair and green eyes.

Amanda a.k.a. "A.J." began studying acting at the age of 9 and booked her first national commercial on her very first audition. She has been working ever since, and has Guest Starred on CBS, FOX, HBO, ABC, WB and NBC. She is best known for her role as "Shannon," on the CBS drama, "The Guardian." Prior to becoming an actress, she had a very successful modeling career, appearing in several National ads, which included magazines, store posters and other merchandising for Disney, Mattel, Playmates Toys, Zutopia, and American Girl to name just a few. Amanda is an accomplished musician, singer and published songwriter. She has been playing the piano for 7 years, but writes most of her songs on the guitar. Her songs are very "Guitar Driven." She and her older sister, Alyson a.k.a. "Aly" are currently recording their first "Aly & A.J." CD, that will soon be released in the mainstream market. Amanda's hobbies are dance, cooking, horseback riding, mountain biking, reading and hanging out with her 2 dogs. Her best friend is her sister Alyson, who is also an actress and can be seen playing the role of "Keely" on Disney Channel's "Phil of the future".
